Job Site Management is an important role and responsibility to ensure that projects are being implemented correctly to
minimize pollution. Weekly inspections are performed to guarantee that the site is following the SWPPP or WPCP document.
At the project site, we inspect Best Management Practices (BMP’s) from the storm water document. Some examples are perimeter controls, site entrances, sediment controls, yard good housekeeping practices. BMP’s must be frequently inspected and maintained
if necessary. Maintenance should occur for BMP’s that have reduced capacity to treat stormwater or BMP’s that have been damaged and need to be repaired or replaced.

Further inspections take place when a storm is forecasted. Pre-Rain, During-Rain, and Post-Rain Inspections are critical.
They ensure that the site can withstand a storm without allowing sediment to leave the site. Conducting inspections during rain
events also allows a construction site operator to address minor problems before they turn into major problems.
